I told a lot of people that asked if I was going to Black Friday shopping that I wasn't going to go, but I ended up checking it out with my dad. Really, it just seems like an excuse for people to shop. Forever 21 was such a bust and didn't have any deals really unless you were there waiting in line for a chance to win a gift card. I did end up buying a dress for only 8 dollars, but that's because it was on the sales rack. Foreign Exchange always has a big sale for Thanksgiving weekend. 45% of the whole store. 25% off sale items. What sucks about their clothes is that it looks cute when it's not tried on. The fitting is weird. I tried on a couple pieces and ended up getting one skirt in the end. 15 dollars, originally 24. They were also giving a free scarf with every purchase. I bought a few things at Charlotte Russe and had some food with my dad. We stopped by Dollar Tree because I was still thinking of decorating, but didn't find anything I wanted. I ended up just buying green tablecloth.
When I came home, I got ready to go out again and watch New Moon with Tiffany and Thuy. I'm not a Twilight fan and I'm one of those girls that will watch it just for Taylor Lautner. *drools* Movie was better than the first one and they showed so many good trailers. (: The movie was over at 5 and I headed home to prep. My brother helped me set the tables and what not. I made fried chicken with my mom at around 6. I'd get texts that they can't make it or someone is going to be late something like that and that reminded me why I stopped planning these things in the first place. Because I hate the feeling of being let down. There was a lower turn out this year, but there was plenty of laughs and good memories. We didn't start dinner until an hour later as usual. Friends stayed until 1am. Cleaning up everything afterwards. It was a good night.
I don't have definite plans today, but I'm thinking of miniature golf later. We'll see.
