Halloween Weekend.

It's always pleasant to go back to OC because it's home obviously, but it's a feeling of comfort where you know your surroundings and what not. I know I'll gain that eventually in San Diego, but I love the weather in OC and there's just so many places to go, so many places to hang. Plus, all of my friends are back home or most of them at least. <3

I went back to OC with Tina, Hung, and Michelle T. We left around 4:30 and I was at my house by 6:30. Another dreadful two hours. Once I got home, I went with the other Tina and Jonathan to visit Richard in UCLA. Jimmy and Long both came back to OC so Richard had the dorm to himself. The drive there was free from traffic and wasn't long at all. We went to a parking structure that Richard told us to go, but we didn't know where to get a parking permit so we drove around and around. We ended up in a different parking lot and paid through the machines. Richard gave us a tour around the campus and the buildings are just beautiful. Not just the buildings, the entire campus was pretty amazing. Definitely made my school look cruddy. Haha. It was so cold though. I wouldn't know because back in San Diego, I don't go around past 9 so I don't know how the weather is like at night really. We grabbed some food and then went to his dorm. Their dorms are so strict after 9pm though. You have to swipe your ID in if you live in the building and if you have guests, they have to get a guest past and it's like signing your life away. Haha. The guests have to have their IDs too. I left my keys and ID in the car so Richard and Jonathan went back to the car to get my stuff. Richard's dorm is so small. It's about the size of my dorm also, but has more of a rectangular shape. We hung around until 12. Got back home around 1.

Take 1: Total miss. Take 2: a bit better.

What are they looking out at??? ; The steps that we climbed down. There's a couple at the top.

One of the amazing buildings that would have probably looked better during the day time. ; On the bear :)

Our "natural" poses waiting for Richard and Jonathan

Richard's super small dorm.

Mirror shots :)

Those long hallways and my funny looking face haha.

Last shot before we left :)

When I woke up around noon on Saturday, I walked into the living room and my mom gave me a surprised look because I don't give her a phone call telling her that I'll be home over the weekend. Her and her boyfriend were really surprised. We bought some Vietnamese food and my mom was saying how just like my brother when he went to college, he started to miss and appreciate Vietnamese food. Yep. That's the case for me also. I went to South Coast Plaza with Marco to find nothing and then we went to the Anti-Mall (The Lab) where they have Urban Outfitters and Buffalo Exchange. Like Marco says "I could just live in this store (Urban Outfitters)." We spent a good amount of time in there and I ended buying ankle boots for 40 dollars when they were originally 78. I also bought a peanut butter and jelly matching key holders. :) I really really love Urban Outfitters, but of course I can afford to buy their clothes and what not, so I'll settle for Forever 21 and thrift stores for now. How I see it as is "Maybe when I get rich" type of thing. What's funny is I don't find anything I like on their online store, but I love everything that's in their store.

First one was the pair that I bought. Second one was what I was looking for, but couldn't find my size. Third one, I just really want and hope I get for Christmas.

Marco was looking at this really nice blazer made by Obey. And these were the key holders I was talking about. :)

We went to Stater Brothers to buy drinks and chips for the get together at my house. We only got the chips because the sale on the drinks ended yesterday. There were a few of them at my house already before I even got home. We tried to figure out how to connect the speakers and what not. There's an adapter that connects the sound to the X-Box, but we couldn't find that so we resorted to my laptop. Enrique, Chau, and Nicole went to get drinks as we tried to figure out how to put everything together. Peter picked up the pizza. Almost everyone watched the scary movie. I sat a few minutes in and decided not to watch the movie so I hung out with the few others that chose not to watch either. We didn't do much after the movie besides chit chat. The last few left by 12 or 1AM.

Pizza and hot wings yum. ; Michelle's hot wing on steroids.

I learned how to adjust the lighting on my camera so when there's yellow light, it'll actually come out to white light. :) I don't have to do that on photoshop anymore. We had this problem last year for Thanksgiving. ):

Michelle & Thuy ; Friends just chillin' on the couch.

The group shots always come out blurry. ): Can't wait for a new lens

I ended up returning the boots that I bought. Figuring that I have a similar pair that just needs the heels to be fixed. I didn't feel an urge to shop or anything. I've applied to 4 places on campus and I'm praying that I get hired. I'm saving up for a $400 lens, but I'll be buying it used for $300. It's a zoom lens. The lens that I'm using now is a... focus lens? I hope to get this lens before Christmas then I can take amazing shots at Christmas Bash. :) Thinking of money makes my head hurt.

My baby ): Canon EF 28-135mm

I didn't even realize this until my friends told me that my BananaWhat.ORG website doesn't work anymore. Has it already been a year??? I didn't think people even looked at it. Maybe I'll get it going when I actual commit to uploading pictures. If any of you guys want pictures, then lend me your flashdrive. :)

I have my quarter set out and I know when I'll be coming back home. It's crazy how quarter systems go by soooo fast.

  1. What mode were you shooting with? My dad just bought the T1i, so I can't wait to go home to play with it! :D

Urban Outfitters is so fun to look around. I never usually buy anything when I go in, but I love looking at all the stuff I can't afford. ;P

Good luck in your job search! Don't give up! :)
